The community is known for its established residential neighborhoods, access to forest preserves and outdoor recreation, and a location that connects residents with nearby suburbs, shopping corridors and commuter transportation.

Closed-Sale Market Snapshot

Oak Forest · MRED closed-sale records supplied for this guide

This snapshot separates detached single-family homes from attached homes. The supplied export includes 142 detached sales and 41 attached sales, along with five vacant-land records that are excluded from the home averages. The subdivision averages below include only sales with a subdivision name supplied in the MRED export. Sales with blank subdivision fields are not assigned to a neighborhood or included in its subdivision average.

Market data disclaimer: We compile market snapshots using available closed-sale records and subdivision information. Occasionally, a listing arrives without a subdivision name—or with details that were never filled in by the listing agent. When we cannot confidently identify the neighborhood, that sale may be left out of that subdivision’s statistics. We can only work with the information that makes it into the system! We make every effort to keep this information accurate and current, but these figures are general market snapshots, not appraisals or guarantees of value.
