Historic Downtown

Downtown Frankfort is a community gathering place, with locally owned shops, restaurants, public spaces and seasonal events. Breidert Green and the Old Plank Road Trail add to the walkable downtown atmosphere.

A Variety of Neighborhoods

Frankfort offers a broad mix of housing, from older homes near the historic center to townhome communities, established subdivisions and larger newer homes. Prices and home styles can vary considerably from one neighborhood to another.

A note about location: A Frankfort mailing address does not automatically mean a property is inside the incorporated Village of Frankfort. The greater Frankfort area includes Frankfort Square, unincorporated locations and nearby communities. Municipal boundaries, taxes, services, schools and park-district coverage should always be checked by property address.

A note about neighborhood sales data: We compile market snapshots using available closed-sale records and subdivision information. Occasionally, a listing arrives without a subdivision name—or with details that were never filled in by the listing agent. When we cannot confidently identify the neighborhood, that sale may be left out of that subdivision’s statistics. We can only work with the information that makes it into the system! We make every effort to keep this information accurate and current, but these figures are general market snapshots, not appraisals or guarantees of value.

Gateway is shown as one mobile-home-park entry. Its average includes the 15 mobile-home sales in the supplied export. Vacant-land transactions are excluded. The subdivision averages above reflect records with a supplied subdivision assignment; additional records without a confirmed subdivision are not represented in a neighborhood average.
